Licensed since 2003, Matia has accumulated many techniques, insights, and tools through both formal educational as well as through hands-on experience. Her massage work incorporates a multiple modalities, drawing most heavily from Swedish, Lomi Lomi, Cranio Sacral, Deep Tissue, and Trauma-Informed Bodywork. Meditation and somatics also provide foundational elements to her practice. All of Matia's knowledge and experience is utilized in each treatment. She does not practice a singular modality, but instead uses clients' stated goals and feedback, manual observation, and intuition, to custom tailor each session and treatment plan.
